Car Check

Does your car need a service? Take the test

Answer seven quick questions and get an honest assessment of whether your car should visit the workshop — based on what our mechanics see every day.

Question 1 of 7

Has it been more than a year — or more than 15,000 km — since the last service?

How does the Car Check work?

The questions are based on the most common warning signs our mechanics meet at the workshop in Sandefjord — the signs that most often precede both minor faults and the expensive repairs that could have been avoided. The test gives an indication, not a diagnosis: an actual check at the workshop is the only way to know for sure.

Din Firmabil AS is an officially approved workshop and inspection body. We handle all car brands, always provide an estimate before starting, and tell you honestly if something does not need doing.

Questions about the test

Is the Car Check a diagnosis of my car?

No — the test is an indication based on common warning signs, not a diagnosis. An actual inspection at the workshop, ideally with fault-code reading, is the only way to know for sure what your car needs.

Does it cost anything to take the test or book a slot?

The test is completely free and without obligation. If you book a slot, you always get an estimate before we start — and we check with you before doing anything beyond what was agreed.

What happens after I book?

You receive a confirmation by email, and we take the car in at the agreed time at Bekkeveien 11 in Sandefjord. The inspection starts from what you have noticed — feel free to describe the symptoms from the test in your booking.
